Bizzarre songs played out with wild abaondon on instruments you've never heard of, some newly made, some reworked from ancient codexes and the like. I was incredibly lucky to get to hear and play with Frank Pahl when I was about 18. I still listen to alot of his music on a really regular basis. This CD again features collaborations with Eugene Chadborne,Amy Denio, and a number of Detroit area eccentric musicians. including Only a Mother, the Shakin' Ray Levis, and my first band ever, the Blue Sun Quintet.
