This is a live recording of Marc Bisson(prepared guitar, electronics)
and Katt hernandez(violin, hydrophone). It was done at the Zeitgeist Gallery in Cambridge, MA, as part of the subconcious cafe series. While we played, terrified yuppies stood outside the door, rooted to the sidewalk in a mix of horror and undesried glee. I have been working with Marc for about two years now. He puts his guitar on a table and plays it with implements, reminding one of keith rowe, but also plays it in the more "traditional" manner- his blues background, although almost entirely mutated into sound art, comes forth in this record, especially on the last track in a weird, howling stomp. And of course there is very cool Hans Rickheit cover art.
